Thurne Bungalows Management Company Limited (TBMC) is run as a not-for-profit, mutual, property management company.TBMC was formed in 1985 specifically to purchase a ninety-nine year lease of 188 plots of River Thurne rond from the then Anglian Water Authority. The current freeholder is the Environment Agency. TBMC now manages that Headlease and the 184 Under-leases that derive from it.
TBMC also provides a domestic refuse collection and cesspit emptying service to River Thurne property owners on a not-for-profit basis. For the past ten years, these services have been outsourced to River and Domestic Services (RDS) via an annually rolling TBMC/RDS Service Agreement.
